Our client are a large diverse London borough who currently have a requirement for a Principal planning Obligations officer (CIl & S106) to join the team on a long term contract. Rates of pay up to £35 ph for a suitably qualified and experience candidate.



ABOUT THE ROLE

A borough with large amounts of development and change ithey are looking to optimise the delivery of genuinely affordable housing, and achieve high quality sustainable urban environments.


We are looking for a dynamic and hardworking individual to play a central role in implementing the Planning Obligations and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), working in the council's regeneration team


You will be responsible for the carrying out of the monitoring and administration of and compliance with S106 legal agreements as well as the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). You may also support the process of allocating CIL and S106 funds. You will be working with (and where necessary/appropriate leading) the CIL Collection Officer in their S106/CIL collection duties and reporting to the S106/External Funding lead officer.



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are looking for someone with substantial experience in planning or property (ideally CIL and Section 106) who will get great job satisfaction from forensic problem solving and has excellent attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
