Our client are a leading planning consultancy with an excellent reputation within the Bristol market who are seeking a strong Senior Town Planner to join their team.

This successful firm have an impressive portfolio of projects and are actively seeking an experienced and commercially aware Town Planner to assist in a range of planning projects, helping to provide expert planning services from site identification, to land promotion and securing planning permission on a range of residential and mixed-use developments.

The successful candidate will become part of a personable, close knit and busy team to work within all aspects of the planning process from inception through to completion.

Some key responsibilities will include:

* Providing advice on planning and development matters with a particular focus on residential and housing projects
* Preparing planning applications for both strategic and immediate sites, of varying degrees of complexity
* Being involved with the commercial aspects of housing development, negotiating S106 agreements and liaising with landowners, local authorities and agents.

The successful Senior Town Planner will have a minimum of 2 years' experience within either the public or private sector and will be MRTPI accredited (or be able to back date their experience). The role will be both autonomous and collaborative, which will suit a planner that has been exposed to a range of projects within a commercial context, and whom is looking to progress their career within an exciting and client facing role.
