Planner/Senior Planner | Exeter | Established Consultancy
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to represent an established independent consultancy in their search for an experienced Planner or Senior Planner to join the team in Exeter.
This successful consultancy have multiple offices across the UK, and help to deliver expert planning services on projects within the residential, development, strategic land, health, leisure, education and specialist housing sectors.
Having experienced an exciting level of expansion within the South West region, this firm are now seeking an experienced candidate to lead on applications with a range of clients, including housebuilders, developers, local authorities and private organisations.
The Role:
The successful Planner or Senior will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting and varied applications on both a minor and major scale. You will work both alongside the team as well as independently on a range of residential and mixed use developments across the South West, as well as local plan promotions, neighbourhood plans and reserved matter applications. You will have the opportunity to work simulataneously on a varied case load of applications within both different sectors and geographical locations, and will have the opportunity to act in a client facing capacity. The successful Planner or Senior will help to advise on development strategies and proposals, and will be a valued and respected member of the planning team.
The Requirements:
You will be MRTPI Qualified, or in the process of submitting, with an RTPI Accredited Planning qualification. You will also have at least 2 years' worth of experience working within the planning sector, and will be confident in working on planning applications within the wider team, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
