An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a award-winning planning consultancy in Hampshire working on a range of high profile projects for public and private sector clients. Our client are an experienced and highly-reputable consultancy and their looking to onboard experienced Principal Planners and Associates to join their successful and expanding planning team.

Ideally you will have the following:

·         Good communication skills

·         Degree educated in relevant discipline

·         MRTPI qualified

·         Excellent report writing skills

·         Comprehensive experience in town planning

At your new job, your duties will include;

·         Liaising with internal and external clients and statutory bodies, and public consultation, as necessary.

·         Provide application advice and guidance to applicants and agents with the submission of planning applications

·         Supporting more junior staff

·         Negotiating and communicating with applicants, agents and consultees

·         Draft detailed delegated reports and present at committee

·         Managing a caseload of both minor and major applications
