Senior Planning Policy Officer

As Senior Planning Policy Officer you shall assist with the preparation, monitoring and review of the Local Plan and other plans and policies in accordance with the instructions and legal requirements, as well as undertake any planning-policy related activities on behalf of the council.

In the position of Senior Planning Policy Officer you will be recognised for membership of the RTPI with previous experience with planning policy.

Essentially as Senior Planning Policy Officer you shall demonstrate:

• Sound knowledge of planning law, knowledge of current issues in local government, and relevant to planning policy
• Professional techniques relevant to the assessment of planning applications
• Knowledge and understanding of customer service ethos.
