I currently have an exciting role available for an Associate Planning Consultant to join a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy based in South Leeds. This business provide support and guidance to clients throughout the region on a broad range of development projects.
About You
Applying for the role of Senior Planning Consultant, you will be expected to:
- Hold a Degree and/or Masters Qualification in Town Planning or a relevant subject discipline
- Be a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
- Demonstrate professional experience in planning policy and local plans
- Be able to identify and promote various sites through the local plan process
- Have a strong consultancy background with demonstrable commercial awareness
About the Role
The successful candidate will join the land promotion team and will work closely within a team of planners, masterplanners and urbanists. You will work on a broad range of client projects, maintaining the provision of high quality planning advice and guidance. You will be expected to lead project teams, working effectively with colleagues to ensure that clients' goals are successfully met. You will show commercial awareness and will endeavour to win new work and promote the company where possible. Your role will also involve contributing to the coordination of projects and working within given budget and time constraints.
