Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending in skills and experience)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Town Planner to join a UK leading planning consultancy as part of their established Manchester based team. The successful Senior Town Planner can expect a varied workload, taking the lead on a good mix of medium and large development schemes.

Qualifications and Experience:

In this instance applications are sought from candidates who are MRTPI qualified and have a minimum of 3 year's planning experience, preferably within a consultancy environment. A proven track record in project management is essential as well as having an interest in undertaking business development duties.

Duties:

• Building and developing client relationships
• Promoting a variety of residential, commercial and mixed use developments, both Brownfield and Greenfield
• Preparing, submitting and negotiating planning applications
• Preparing Planning and socio-economic statements
• Conducting research
• Mentoring junior members of the team
