Enforcement Town Planner

Our client based in South West London require a Planning Enforcement Officer to manage and handle a varied caseload across the Borough. You will be required to investigate suspected planning breaches and work to resolve them efficiently. As required you will be conducting site visits and documenting relevant technical information to help inform the decision making process and where necessary act as evidence in prosecution cases.

To apply for this role you will need to have carried out a similar role within a local authority setting. Formal planning qualifications are not absolutely essential if you can demonstrate an appropriate level of experience to be able to manage your own caseload and you have a strong knowledge of the UK planning system particular in relation to planning enforcement issues and development management.

The role will initially run for 3 months but is likely to be extended; the rate offered will depend on your level of experience. Please get in touch for more information.
