Job Details
Vivid are working exclusively with a Local Authority based in the South London area who are looking for a new senior/principal level planning policy officer to join their busy team on an interim basis. The role will initially be offered for 6 months, but is being considered as a rolling contract which could role on well past the 12-18 month mark. The role can offer flexible working, including a condensed week, and up to 2 days remote working per week! The client have said for the right candidate they would be willing to offer rates up to £43 per hour!
In addition to this, the local authority is easily accessible by train or car, and free parking is offered on site.
The position will involve assisting the planning policy department in their approach to the next stage of the local plan, and desired would be a minimum of 3 years of planning policy experience working for a local authority (or similar).
The client are looking to move quickly with this role however they do appreciate that they may have to wait out a notice period for the right candidate.
