Senior/Associate Planner – Derby

If so, then we should talk. We’re currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Associate Planner to join a top firm in the East Midlands.

The firm have been established for a number of years and has many high profile long standing clients for whom they provide bespoke advice on various sites and projects across the country. They’re now looking to recruit a vibrant and enthusiastic Town Planner, either at Senior or Associate level, to join their growing East Midlands team.

The role will offer you the opportunity to manage a wide and diverse range of client instructions. Predominantly development management based, the role will also provide opportunities for the undertaking of plan promotion, EiP, public inquiry work and informal hearings. The Senior or Associate Planner will be able to manage competing demands on their time and prioritise tasks for themselves and others. They will need to have a flexible attitude towards working, be self-motivated and have a good team working ethic, be self-assured and confident, and enjoy the prospect of developing their own client base and making a real contribution to the prosperity of the Company and themselves.

The Senior or Associate Planner will;

• Be MRTPI qualified with circa 5-10 years’ experience
• Have the ability to work independently as well as in conjunction with senior staff members and the wider team
• Be able to manage external consultants and mentor junior staff members
• Hold a full driving licence
