Job Details
Due to continued expansion our client, a national multi-disciplinary Consultancy is seeking an Associate Director to join their thriving office in Rugby, Warwickshire.
In this role you will be tasked with leading projects and managing your own workload as well as supporting the Directors of the business. You will have the support of junior members of the team in completing projects as required and also have a high level of client contact and responsibility.
Candidates will be expected to be able to work on development plan/policy and development management projects and appeal work. You must therefore be able analyse and problem solve, advocate solutions verbally and in writing and also convey ideas clearly to the team. You should, whilst working in a team environment have the ability to work also on your own initiative.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be able to manage competing demands on their time and prioritise tasks for themselves and others. You will be self-motivated and have a good team spirit. Some experience in the management of junior staff would be a benefit.
You will be self-assured and able to develop good working relationships of clients. You will enjoy the prospect of developing your own client base and making a real contribution to the prosperity of the Company, and yourself.
You may have experience in planning policy or development management and some experience in preparing and presenting evidence to hearings, inquiries or examinations in public would be an advantage but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be IT literate with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. You will be will be organised and punctual.
A full driving licence is essential. Membership of the RTPI preferable.
