Principal Planning Officer

A local authority in Gloucestershire are looking to recruit an experienced Planning Officer at Principal level with experience of dealing with major applications to step in and join the Major Applications team.

Successful candidates for this role will have acquired practical experience as a Planner in development management with a proven track record to hit the ground running, processing complex major applications. A Town Planning related degree or diploma, and exceptional written and communication skills are essential.

The contract will be an initial 3 months, but is highly likely to roll on beyond this. The rate for this position will depend on your previous experience and the level of caseload allocated to you, but will range between £35-45 per hour.

This role will also have scope for flexible home working.

You will need to have a full driver’s licence and access to a car.
