Local Land Charges Officer

Our client in North London and they require a Local Land Charges Officer to join them for a contract role. As a Land Charges Officer you will prepare and process Local Land Search Certificates and accompanying forms of supplemental enquiries, entailing the checking and collating of information held by the Council. You will also administer key information in relation to Planning Applications, Tree Preservation Orders, Enforcement Notices, Listed Building Notifications, Legal/Highway Agreements and Building Control Notices. You will assist and advise a range of customers including as agents, solicitors, professional bodies and members of the public.

The role would be well suited to those with previous admin work experience who are looking to establish a career within town planning and building control. Any relevant qualifications, such as a geography or town planning related degree and knowledge of GIS systems would be a distinct advantage given the technical nature of the team's work. You will need the ability to analyse and interpret data and present key facts to both internal and external groups in a clear and concise format.

The role will initially be offered for a minimum 3 month period though it's likely to be extended beyond this and the rate will be around £25hr (ltd). Contact us now to register your interest. A full JD is available on request.
