Planner, Principal Planner and Team Leader

Due to an increased workload and restructure, our client is looking for three Town Planners for interim contracts.



Principal Planner

- Major Applications; 50 - 500+ units including residential and rural cases

- Extensive major applications experience required

- MRTPI

- Contract to end of financial year

- Negotiable/market rates, we expect £35 - £44/h



Team Leader

- Manage and mentor Development Management team

- Sign off applications

- MRTPI

- Own caseload of strategic applications

- Initial three month contract

- Negotiable/market rates; we expect £40 - £47/h



Planning Officer

- Caseload of householders and minors

- Experience in LPA Development Management team

- Three to six month contract

- Negotiable/market rates; we expect £20 - £30/h



All roles:

- To start in August or early September

- Require car (site visit mileage paid at 45p per mile)

- 1 - 2 days home working considered

- Inside IR35

- Initial telephone interviews taking place as soon as possible, face to face may be required before appointment
