A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Principal Planner to join a leading practice in Leeds. This firm have an excellent reputation across the country and operate across all planning sectors with an enviable client base. They are one of the leading teams in the city and this is an excellent time to join them with further expansion on the horizon.

This role is to focus on residential, retail and commercial planning work. We are looking for MRTPI candidates with knowledge of the Leeds/Yorkshire market, ideally with some current or recent consultancy experience. Your role will involve managing a number of complex projects; written representations; informal hearing and public inquiry submissions; submission of representations to development plans; site appraisals; S106 negotiations; and preparing and submitting planning applications. We are looking for candidates who have similar project variety in their experience (and who enjoy a varied workload).

You should have excellent report writing skills, attention to detail and take pride in your work. You should be confident in client facing situations, be a good networker and show your ability to maintain and build client relationships as well as starting to build your own profile in the market.
