Principal Planner | Leeds

Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Planner in consultancy or a Senior Planning Officer in Local Authority to step up to Principal Planner level with a renowned and well-respected multi-disciplinary consultancy in Leeds.

You will be engaging with a wide range of clients, mainly in the fields of residential and commercial development and retail to deliver projects from proposal and appraisal through to handing over successful planning permissions and everything in between.

Your skills and experience, ideally gained over at least 5 years in the planning industry, will be utilised to deliver projects whilst also managing the workload of junior planners and mentoring them through their professional development and APC process. Therefore you will need to be a great communicator and a confident and fair delegator as well as a highly skillful planner.

In return for your hard work, you will be rewarded a highly competitive salary within the approximate range of £35,000 - £45,000 along with a very generous car allowance in excess of £5,000 (or company car equivalent), private medical insurance, fantastic pension scheme, good holiday allowance and additional financial bonuses.
