Planning Enforcement officer | Temporary contract | Liverpool

Do you have previous experience working within Planning enforcement at a Local Authority?

Can you demonstrate your technical understanding of Development management?

Have you got an understanding of GIS databases?

We are seeking a Planning Enforcement officer to join a Local Authority in Liverpool for a temporary 4-6 month contract.

Requirements:

You must hold a recognised qualification in Town Planning preferably at degree level and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. You’ll be expected to demonstrate your technical understanding of development management and planning enforcement within a Local Authority setting. You will also hold full membership with the RTPI.

You will undertake the role of Planning Enforcement officer within the Development management section on the local authority in the North West. Working under the direction of the Planning Manager and in conjunction with further members of the planning enforcement team, you will be expected to work to time constraints to deliver projects within time and budget.

This opportunity will allow you to develop your technical skill set within Town Planning and Planning Enforcement.
