Graduate Planner - Norwich, East of England
Multi-disciplinary Consultancy of Town Planners & Urban Designers
£20,000 - £24,000 p/a + APC support and benefits package
Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with an independent and respected multi-disciplinary consultancy on the hire of an ambitious Graduate Planner for their Norwich office.
Our client provides specialist advice in the fields of town planning, architecture and urban design, transport, archaeology and heritage. The practice are considered one of the leading expert planning and development consultancies in the East of England with multiple offices across the region.
Due to an ongoing period of success the team are expanding and require a Graduate Town Planner to join the team where you will assist in guiding clients through the complexities of the development management and planning policy processes, from pre-application and land promotion stages, to post-determination success, and through appeals. The company produce planning and development appraisals and also offer advice on CPOs, EIAs, Sustainability, Economic and Heritage Assessments. You will also assist more senior members of the team on large scale and complex projects as required.
You will work with land and property developers and landowners, in a range of sectors such as residential, commercial, retail and other businesses. You will also work with clients in the renewable energy, waste, education, leisure and public authority sectors.
Job requirements
-Hold a degree and/or masters in town planning or similar discipline.
-Previous planning experience ideal however fresh Graduates with high academic passes are encouraged to apply
-Strong organisation and communication skills
-Full UK driving license
