Job Details
Our client is a local authority based in North East England and they are seeking a Principal Regeneration Officer to join them for a contract position and assist with the implementation of the Council's Regeneration strategy. This will be achieved through the delivery of a programme of physical regeneration projects. You will be required to promote and manage individual regeneration projects throughout the Borough including preparing and updating project plans and budgets and ensuring that all Council and funding approvals are secured.
To apply you will need to hold a relevant planning related qualification and a proven track record in delivering major regen projects. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members and you will have a strong knowledge of legislation pertaining to urban regeneration.
The role will initially be offered for 8 months and the rate will be around £25 - £30 p/hr. Full JD available on application.
