Do you have over 2 years within Planning policy with a Local Authority?
Have you achieved a Town Planning OR associated degree?
Can you demonstrate your technical understanding of the public sector?
We are recruiting a Planning policy office for a Local Authority in the North West.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in Town planning
- Working towards MRTPI status
- Minimum of 2 years Public sector planning experience
- Strong working knowledge of planning policies
Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior planners
- Write planning policies for public sector projects
- Work in conjunction with the Development planning team and Building control
- Respond to public enquiries
- Investigate development sites
The role is for an initial 3 month contract and there is a likelihood that further progression to a permanent role will be available dependent on work load and your personal performance. You will receive a very competitive hourly rate in conjunction with your previous experience.
