Town Planning Roles - LONDON

London is Calling….

London seems to be a very busy place at the moment and a number of Boroughs are looking to strengthen their Teams.

Central London

-Principal Planning Officer – Development Management – This is an initial 3 month contract and the council are looking for an experienced Planner to deal with a case of Major Applications. Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience with rates likely to be £35/h +

-Senior Planning Enforcement Officer - £30/h, rolling 3 month contract. You must be able to hit the ground running having had recent experience at a Senior level.

-Development Management Team Leader - £40/h+ negotiable depending on experience, the ideal candidate will have experience mentoring junior members of the team as well as dealing with a case of Major Applications.

South London

-Planning Officer – Development Management – Pay Rate £20/h – This local authority are looking for a more Junior Planning Officer to join their team to deal with minor applications. Must hold a Full UK driving Licence (pool car available)

-Planning Officer – Development Management- 3 month contract for a planning officer who has experience working within a London Boroughs planning team. You will be able to hit the ground running and pick up a case load of Householder and Minor Applications. Pay rate £24/h

-Planning Manager - Development Management – Pay Rate is negotiable – day rate of hourly rate considered.

East London

-Senior Development Management Officer – You must hold a Full UK Driving license. 3 month contract, £30/h, Mixed case load of applications. You must be able to hit the ground running having had recent experience dealing with a heavy case load.

-Principal Development Management Officer – Again you must have a Full UK Driving License for this role. It is an initial 3 month contract paying £40/h. You will be able to deal with major applications and be ale to assist the more junior members of staff.

-Planning Policy Officer – 3 month contract – Recent experience working on the Local Plan, Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience.

West London

-Major Applications Officer - £36 per hour – Working on large applications in a thriving a buzzing authority.

-Principal DM Officer - £35 per hour – Working on a range of larger applications

-Senior DM Officer - £26-30 per hour – Working on a range of applications

-Policy Officer – £22-25 per hour – Assisting on a range of planning policy issues

North London

-Planning Officer – Development Management -This LPA require a Planning Officer for a 3month rolling contract, predominantly dealing with Householder and Minor Applications. Pay rate £25/h

All rates quoted are at Ltd/Umbrella rate with all roles being deemed as Inside IR35.
