Specialist Planning Consultancy

Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well-established Planning Consultancy who are looking to expand their team through the appointment of an Associate Planner to a new office in Exeter.
You will join a group of dynamic, energetic Directors in a forward thinking business and assist in leading the growth of the business. The company work across multiple sectors however are particularly interested in supplementing the growing residential side of the business or within a field that the company doesn't currently operate within.
In this role you will manage existing clients, win new business and assist in managing and coaching junior planners (remotely). In addition, you will provide strategic advice on submissions for new work and new business presentations and run projects from inception to completion. The company has offices throughout the UK and there may be requirement to travel periodically.
Looking for personal progression? This consultancy promotes on merit! There are clear routes of progression within this business, meaning that if the right skills and attributes are demonstrated there is an opportunity to progress should that be an aspiration!
In order to be considered you will have a demonstrable record of managing clients from initial contact through to project completion. You need to have had experience managing junior staff and be commercially astute. The successful candidate will need to be able to articulate how you would move the business forward and develop current and new clients.
