Join one of the UK's most highly regarded Consultancies who are a recognised leader in the Planning & Design market.
The company have an opening for a talented, dynamic and ambitious Graduate Planner to join their friendly, supportive and inclusive team to work on a diverse range of projects (covering multiple sectors and scales, including large scale developments).
The office is located in a modern, open-plan and high quality premises in Central Reading - just 5 minutes' walk from Reading train station! The team is hugely experienced employing a number of senior level Planners which is the perfect base for you to learn and apply your knowledge and experience to date.
Duties
-Ongoing professional development, including working towards MRTPI qualification
-Developing planning technical knowledge
-Assisting with the promotion of a range of development proposals
-Assisting with conducting research and site appraisals on projects for our client base
-Assisting with the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications
-Assisting with the preparation of planning promotion documents
-Assisting with community engagement activities
-Assisting with policy representations
-Providing planning appeal assistance
-Supporting the Planning team as required
About You
-Have a relevant degree
-Hold 1-2 years planning experience (from the public or private sector)
-Are committed to continued professional development with a willingness to learn.
-Strong communications skills
-Excellent team working skills
-Hold a full UK driving license
