Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting one of the UK's most highly respected consultancies on the hire of a Planner for their central Reading office. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and ambitious Planner to join the team and work on a diverse range of projects which includes large scale Residential, Commercial and Mixed-Use developments.
The successful candidate will work on small-medium sized planning applications whilst also being able to assist on major applications. You will conduct research & site appraisals and draft policy representations. The appointed Planner will assist with the promotion of a range of development proposals and provide planning appeal support where required. You will also assist with the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary teams and project management.
-MRTPI or be working towards it
-Have planning experience, particularly with residential developments
-Planning experience and technical knowledge and a willingness to learn
-Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
-Are personable and professional with high levels of motivation, ambition and drive
-Have an ability to manage your own time and workload
-Hold a full UK driving licence
