Overview
Penguin Recruitment are working with an established and well-respected consultancy in Cambridgeshire who are looking to appoint a Graduate Planner to their successful and supportive team in Cambridge. Candidate should hold circa 12 months experience, which can come from the public or private sector. In this role you will enjoy outstanding training and development, coupled with excellent career opportunities.
Work within a friendly, inclusive and supportive culture and one of high support and high challenge, where you will be encouraged take on new and greater responsibilities, and to grow and flourish both personally and professionally.
Key duties
-Assisting with the promotion of a range of development proposals
-Assisting with conducting research and site appraisals on projects for our client base
-Assisting with the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications
-Assisting with the preparation of planning promotion documents
-Assisting with community engagement activities
-Assisting with policy representations
-Providing planning appeal assistance
-Assisting project managers to complete their tasks in delivering projects to time and budget
-General support the Planning team as required
