Planning Enforcement Officer - Temporary contract - South Wales

Do you have previous experience working within Planning enforcement at a Local Authority?

Can you demonstrate your technical understanding of Development management?

Have you got an understanding of GIS databases?

We are seeking a Planning Enforcement office to join a Local Authority in Newport for a temporary 3 month contract.

Requirements:

You must hold a recognised qualification in Town Planning preferably at degree level and have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. You'll be expected to demonstrate your technical understanding of development management and planning enforcement within a Local Authority setting. You will hold a RTPI membership.

You will undertake the role of Planning Enforcement officer within the Development management section on the local authority in South Wales. Working under the direction of the Planning Manager and in conjunction with further members of the planning enforcement team, you will be expected to work to time constraints to deliver projects within time and budget.

The role is a temporary 3 month contract within the Local Authority and will allow you to develop your technical skill set in Town Planning and Planning Enforcement.
