North Northamptonshire is in the Cambridge-Milton Keynes-Oxford Corridor, just 50 minutes from London St Pancras.

The Joint Planning and Delivery Unit (JPDU) supports four local authorities in planning and delivering an ambitious growth agenda. Government capacity funding is enabling us to strengthen our professional team to deal with a growing and varied workload. We are looking for an experienced planner/ project manager to support the partner authorities in delivering strategic developments and related infrastructure; procuring consultancy support; and securing further Government capacity and growth funding to tackle barriers to delivery.

This post will be employed by Kettering Borough Council on behalf of the JPDU. It is offered as a two-year contract, which may be extended subject to future funding and emerging unitary authority proposals.

Job-share or part-time working will be considered.
