Graduate Town Planner
Respected Planning Consultancy
£20,000 - £25,000 pa + benefits
Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with a respected town planning consultancy on the South Coast (near Bournemouth) on the hire of a Graduate Town Planner.
Our client provide advice to a range of clients across the South of England such as landowners, developers, public bodies and corporate organisations.
The Graduate will join an experienced leadership team with Senior Planner support to provide the all-important guidance through the APC process. In this role you will work on a variety of projects in the residential and commercial sectors which can range from small scale to large 800+ unit schemes.
In this role you will;
-Provide general advice to clients
-Complete planning appraisals
-Attend site visits
-Advice in relation to strategic land opportunities
-Prepare and submit planning applications
-Community Engagement
-Appeals
-Environment Impact Assessments
-Liaise with all stakeholders
In order to apply for this role you will hold a town planning degree/masters and hold up to 2 years planning experience from the public or private sector. You will be working towards MRTPI submission and be a strong communicator.
The office is located within a 5 minute walk of the main train station and so is easily accessible.
