Planning Officer

We are currently working with a local authority in the lovely area of Gloucestershire, who are looking to take on a Planning Officer to help with applications for an initial 6 month contract, with the opportunity to be extended.

You will be expected to cover a range of applications for householders and minors at a high standard. Other responsibilities include carrying out site inspections and communicating with applicants, agents and consultees. Some experience in a rural area would preferred but not essential. Due to the nature of this work, you would need to be able to drive for site visits.

The rate of pay is between £30-£40ph. The council are looking for applicants with relevant knowledge in this area and someone with recent experience. This job role also has the opportunity for flexible home working.
