Job Details
A North West based Local Authority has instructed Park Avenue to source a Principal Officer for a 3-6-month period, to deal with a large influx of major and strategic applications.
The work involves a varied caseload of mid-range applications and larger major projects consisting of primarily residential applications and large mixed use commercial applications.
The area is undergoing extensive development and regeneration and as a result is receiving some very large and interesting work. This is a great opportunity to work on some big projects at a very competitive rate!
Successful candidates for all roles will have acquired practical experience as a Planner in Development Management with a proven track record processing application, with a Town Planning related degree or diploma, and excellent written and communication skills.
Rates are £30 - £40 an hour although the council may be prepared to pay for an exceptional candidate.
