Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 plus company car

Our client, an established family run development company are urgently looking to expand their Glasgow based team with the appointment of an experienced Planner. Working as part of their respected land and planning team the successful Planner will be working to prepare applications and identify new sites for residential, commercial and renewable energy developments.

Qualifications and Experience:

For this role candidates will likely hold Chartered Membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute and a minimum of two year's planning experience, ideally within a Local Authority or Developer environment, preparing applications and delivering expert advice to clients.

Duties:

• Delivering planning advice
• Preparing planning applications and environmental assessments for a variety of developments
• Identifying suitable new sites
• Developing planning strategies
• Presenting evidence at public inquiries
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Developing relationships with stakeholders and local authorities
