A prestigious and well respected planning consultancy in Nottingham have instructed Penguin Recruitment to support the hiring of a Senior Planner.



My client is an independently owned Planning Consultancy who have covered work in all sectors, including residential, commercial, education, leisure, rural and mixed use projects. Although holding nationwide coverage, the company has a particularly good reputation across the Midlands with an enviable client base of housebuilders, developers alongside a private individuals and local authorities. After recently being awarded several high profile projects, they are now actively seeking to recruit a Senior Planner to join their planning team in Nottingham.



The Senior Planner will provide advice and support to a range of clients and will also be expected to maintain communication with the relevant local authorities. The Senior Planner will be given the opportunity to work on a range of projects although the company is happy to specialise your work if requested. You will manage a number of applications from inception to submission and shadow the Directors at high profile client meetings.



The successful Senior Planner will;

• Have an excellent knowledge of planning in the Midlands
• Own their own vehicle alongside a full UK Driving Licence
• Be MRTPI status and to have covered Senior Planner responsibilities in the past
• Hold a minimum of 3 years' Planning experience from either a local authority or consultancy background
• Ideally have prior exposure to major planning projects, particularly residential schemes.
