RTPI Town Planners
Exeter
£25,000 to £35,000 + Benefits
Fast growing multi-disciplinary are actively looking to grow the size of their Town Planning division by taking on a number of experienced Town Planners with a proven track record in the planning market. Ideally you will have a strong background in helping to run projects from inception through to completions with any particular market knowledge such as rural, residential or housing would all be of interest.
Our client are able to take people on at most grade but ideally you will be able to show at least 2 years post graduate experience and be working towards your full RTPI membership.
The role will be to work all aspects of the planning process including helping to prepare planning applications and organising the required information for appeals and hearings. The majority of projects will involve dealing with Planning applications and doing complete site appraisals. The majority of projects will be around the South West and will include both the Public and Private sector.
To apply you will have experience in all areas of town planning either from a Private Consultancy or a Local Authority, knowledge of the Development Control and Policy process would be beneficial as is experience in mentoring other members of staff offering your expertise and guidance. Ideally you will have a degree and/or masters in Town Planning or an environmental discipline.
