Job Details
My client, a professional services firm who offer high quality real estate services and investment management, is looking for a talented Town Planning Consultant to join the team in Central Manchester. Working on a global, regional and local scale, this business pride themselves on meeting the real estate needs of a broad range of public and private sector clients including institutions, developers and pension funds.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- An RTPI-accredited degree and/or Masters in Town Planning or a relevant qualification
- Previous experience working within the consultancy sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable experience of producing high quality written reports and documents
- Strong knowledge of the planning system
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong IT skills, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Commercial awareness
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive planning team and will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects. You can expect to work on large scale, complex developments in sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and leisure. Working as a town planning consultant, you will be required to deliver high quality planning advice and services to existing and new clients, within both the public and private sectors. You will ensure that clients' commercial objectives are met efficiently and will maintain excellent client relationships. You will show strong commercial awareness and a willingness to contribute to work winning.
