Town Planner

South London Borough - Planning Officer - Start ASAP - £20ph plus

Your new company
This South London borough is easily accessed on the tube network and via the overground making it a great location from all of London. You will be working as part of a large Planning team and you will be expected to pick up a caseload of minor and complex applications quickly.

Your new role
You will pick up a varied caseload and be expected to give detailed pre-planning advice where required. You will need to be well organised and happy representing the Council to a mixture of members of the public and property professionals.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have Uk based planning experience and preferably within another London Borough. Applicants new to the UK will be considered but you will need a thorough knowledge of the standards and systems in place and multiple years gained within a similar environment. You will need an RTPI recognised degree or equivalent experience.

You will receive a competitive hourly rate for a Planning officer position with regular reviews. You will also get the flexibility to work from home once a week and start / end times are negotiable depending on workload.
