Job Details
A local authority in Suffolk are looking to recruit an experienced Planning Officer at Principal level with experience of dealing with major applications to step in and join the Major Applications team.
This position will involve working on applications for all of the larger schemes proposed in the district. The contract will initially run for 3-6 months, but is highly likely to be extended beyond this all being well.
It is possible to work from home, and further flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
Successful candidates for this role will have acquired practical experience as a Planner in development management with a proven track record processing applications, with a Town Planning related degree or diploma, and excellent written and communication skills.
