Job Details
One of my clients in the South East are looking for a Policy Consultant to join them for 6 months, with likely extension to 9+ months. My client can offer flexible working arrangements and this role is OUTSIDE IR35.
About the role
- Preparation of supporting evidence base
- Data analysis
- Carrying out surveys and site visits
- Representing the council at public consultation events
About you
You will ideally have or be looking to attain Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and be qualified to degree level in Town Planning or a relevant discipline whilst having significant working experience in Policy Planning within a Local Authority.
You will have a desire to upkeep excellent knowledge of the planning process, legislation and policies, and preferably have experience dealing with Local Plan Examinations.
