Planning Officer - OUTSIDE IR35

Vivid are currently working with a local authority based in the South Midlands who are currently in search for 3 planning officers (development management) to come in on an interim basis for initial 3 & 6 month rolling contract's respectively. The rate for the role is negotiable dependent on experience, but the client have indicated they are willing to pay great rates (£25-£35p/h) for the right candidate. The client are also willing be flexible with hours, offering part time or full time, as well as the option to work a condensed week (full-time hours in 4 days). In addition to this the client are willing to offer the successful candidates the opportunity to work from home up to 2 days p/w!

The client require the candidate to have experience working on householder or minor (up to 9 units) applications (or both). The client also expect the successful applicant to have worked at planning officer, or planning assistant level for a local authority previously for a minimum of 1 year.  

The client are looking to interview over the next 10 days with a view to making an offer immediately afterwards. They are ideally looking to get someone started ASAP, however they do appreciate they may have to wait 3-4 weeks for the right candidate.
