Planning Officer - Householder and Minor Apps
We are currently working with a local authority in Oxfordshire, who are looking to bring on a contract Planning Officer, to work independently on a varied caseload of householder and minor applications, prior notifications and written reps appeals.
The contract would be for an initial 3 months with the potential for extension depending on the work. Rates for the position start at £28 per hour depending on experience. Flexible and home working is available and encouraged. They are looking for somebody to start this position as soon as possible, but will consider waiting for the right person.
The suitable candidate would need to have a working knowledge of the planning system and will have acquired practical experience as a Planner in development management with a proven track record processing applications, with a Town Planning related degree or diploma, and excellent written and communication skills.
