Are you a senior planner looking to gain further development and more interesting case load? My client based in East London is currently looking to recruit a Senior DC planner for a an initial 3 month with a view to be an ongoing contract dealing with Mix as well Major applications.The Authority is with in easy access of both under and over ground hubs and offers a broad spectrum (Urban, Conservation, etc) of applications with in the boundaries of the Authority.
  • The Local Authority has a broad spectrum of existing planning applications that needs to be processed. having a good working understanding of UK Planning system ( London Borough experience would be an advantage); working at a Senior level.
  • The successful candidate would need to have processed reserved matters for house holder, mixed and large schemes and who understands outline planning applications.
  • You will be expected to negotiate with the clients and the discharge of relevant conditions, a part of this process they should be used to liaising with other departments within the Council as well as external agencies.
The contract would be for an initial 3 months with a view to extend. The rate for the position is between £26- £33 per hour neg.The successful candidate would need to hold a valid drivers licence as the client does provide pool cars for site visits.
