New Challenge, New Lifestyle - what could a move to North Norfolk mean for you? …
Are you enthusiastic and driven?
Do you want to work in a forward thinking planning department?
And do you want to work in a wonderful part of the country, much of which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty?
North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) is an ambitious authority looking to deliver growth to meet the needs of its population and realise its development aspirations.
And it needs planning staff to help meet this ambition.
The Planning Department deals with all aspects of planning including policy development, assessing applications and building control. This is your chance to be a part of a friendly and hard-working team, committed to customer service excellence and a quality built environment. The department deals annually with around 2000 planning applications.
The District has 45miles of North Sea coastline between Holkham in the west and Horsey in the south east. The vast majority of this is very attractive and parts of the coast and surrounding rural landscapes are nationally recognised forming part of the Norfolk Coast Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and North Norfolk Heritage Coast. The east of the District surrounds and provides a gateway to Norfolk Broads, a unique area of internationally recognised wetlands. All this makes for an interesting and varied workload.
