This role would suit an aspiring individual looking to take the next step in their career. You could be at Associate Director or principal level, ready to move in to a more senior and demanding role. You will possess a highly commercial acumen, be a strategic thinker, with a strong team ethos
You will be specialising in key strategic developments around the South of the UK and ideally have a proven track record in this market

You will be responsible for large, complex projects and you should enjoy working in a fast paced, but rewarding environment.
Based in central London, you will be part of wider team of some 40 planners. You will work with a range of clients across the southern part of the UK.

My client is a renowned brand in the market with multiple offices in the UK. They offer a full range of planning services to their clients. You will work alongside a hugely experienced management team who will provide the support and guidance needed to help you reach your career objectives.

Key duties

- Undertake work winning and client development
Prepare planning appraisals

-Prepare planning applications, including planning statements

-Undertake research and analysis

-Contribute to Design & Access statements, sustainability statements etc.

-Take responsibility for projects from the earliest stages through to completion

-Provide advice and guidance to junior team members

-Liaise and negotiate with planning officers, employees of consultee organisations, third parties

-Write complex reports, interpreting data and making clear and relevant recommendations

-Communicate and negotiate effectively with clients and colleagues

In order to apply for this role you will hold / demonstrate;

-RTPI accredited degree

-MRTPI (essential)

-8 + years planning experience (Must include project experience around Southern UK)

-Team player

-Excellent written and communication skills

-Presentable with good presentation skills
