I am currently recruiting for a planning officer with experience dealing with development management to join an exciting and dynamic Local Authority based in Essex.
The role is on an initial 4 month contract working in the council's development management team.The rate is negotiable depending on experience, but the client are happy to offer good rates for the right candidate.
In this post you will be managing your own caseload of minor applications which will consist mostly of residential, householder and extensions applications. The role will also require a knowledge and experience of greenbelt policies.You will be expected to be able to hit the ground running with your own caseload and work well within a busy team.
To be considered for this role you will need at least 1-2 years planning experience for a Local Authority in their Development Management team. You will also need a UK driving licence.
