Senior/Principal/Associate Town Planner (Kent)
A great opportunity has arisen with an independent planning consultancy for a Senior/Principal/Associate Director level Town Planner to join an established and successful team with a strong pipeline of work. You will be joining a friendly and supportive office in central Kent covering the South East, South Coast and Home Counties. This firm have a great reputation and are a lovely firm to work for.
We are looking for MRTPI qualified candidates, ideally with some recent/current consultancy experience but we can also consider local authority/developer led experience for the right person (ideally this will have been gained locally). Ideally candidates will be an experienced Senior or Principal Planner, we may consider Associate Director level for the right person (at this level, consultancy experience in the Kent market with good contacts is essential). The work will be primarily residential led including work for housebuilders, smaller resi developers, care home/affordable housing providers, land owners and government institutions. We are looking for a good grounding in application led work but also good policy knowledge. You will ideally have experience of the South East market but for the ideal backgrounds we may also consider relocators.
In addition to the above we are looking for good project management skills, confident communicators and driven individuals. You should have excellent written ability and be confident in client facing situations as part of your role will be developing and maintaining client relationships.
