Medway Council is looking for a Major Projects Officer to provide the Planning lead for significant development in Medway including the Council's key regeneration projects.

The successful candidate must have significant experience in dealing with major projects from a planning perspective and have a record of solution finding to ensure delivery of major schemes of high quality and fostering partnership working with major developers and their agents.

Medway is the largest unitary authority in South East England, and is a major hub within the Thames Gateway. Situated in North Kent, Medway is part of the Thames Gateway.  It is the only unitary authority in Kent.  With a population of 276,500, we are growing faster than Liverpool. This is in no small part down to our significant regeneration plans.

You will require a Full driving license (valid for use in the UK) and access to a car inclusive of car insurance for Business Use.
