Exciting opportunities have arisen at our Bedford office for a Planner and a Senior Planner and at our Bristol office for an Associate Planner.

For the Planner position, we're looking for a planning graduate or someone starting out in their career, who is working towards MRTPI qualification.

For the Senior Planner position, we are seeking an MRTPI qualified Town Planner, or someone actively working towards accreditation, with a good grounding in development management led work and a strong understanding of local and national planning policy.

For the Associate Planner position, we are looking for candidates with private consultancy experience and with some experience of managing junior staff, handling clients and networking/business development.

This an exciting time with a surge of production of new Development Plans on the horizon and the opportunity to work on the promotion of a number of high profile strategic new settlements to meet the deficit of local housing need.

The roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work across the spectrum of town planning activities, including the promotion of large scale development opportunities. It will include the provision of planning advice, managing associated external consultants and the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals and local plan representations. 

We are ideally looking for candidates with some consultancy experience but those coming from the public sector will also be considered.

These se are new roles created as part of the expansion of the existing teams at the Bedford and Bristol office and will be tasked in assisting with its growing portfolio of work. The roles will require an active involvement in a number of project teams and the successful candidates will be positive, proactive individuals with the drive to meet client expectations and promote the business.
