WYG appoints Good to take on new housing need role

Consultancy WYG has appointed Matthew Good to take on a newly-created role focusing on housing need and delivery.

In a statement, the firm said that Good has been appointed as planning director for housing & economics.

WYG said that Good will lead on objectively assessed housing need work nationally and will also help to grow WYG’s planning business in the north and north west. He is based in the company’s Leeds office.

Good was formerly planning manager (northern regions) for the Home Builders Federation (HBF).

Prior to that, he worked for three different local authorities in the north in development management, planning policy and community involvement roles.
