Colin Turnbull WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff

Engineering consultancy WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has appointed Colin Turnbull as associate director in its environment planning team.

Turnbull, a chartered planner, joins from Peter Brett Associates, where he served as an associate planner.

In his new job, he is set to assist clients navigate the consent regimes for rail, highways and power infrastructure schemes.

Turnbull began his career at consultancy Atkins after gaining both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in town planning from University College London.

He has been chartered since 2009 and is also a member of the National Infrastructure Planning Association.

His previous experience includes working on gaining consents for the Thames Tideway Tunnel and a gas power station in Wales last year.
