Jenny Daly, Taylor Wimpey head of planning

Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has appointed a new director of planning to replace Keith George, who is retiring.

Jennie Daly has left her post as managing director of Cheshire developer Harrow Estates, owned by Redrow, to take up the new role.

She leaves the company after 12 years, during which time she has served as managing director, director of planning and strategic planning manager.

Daly previously worked as group land manager at Westbury Homes.

She gained a bachelors degree in town and country planning from the University of Manchester in 1991, followed by a diploma in the same subject a year later from the same institution.

Daly will handle planning issues across the UK, but will continue to spend a significant amount of time in the North West.
