Waverley expands planning team to strengthen s106 compliance

A Surrey council is expanding its planning team with aim of ensuring that developers deliver on section 106 and planning condition requirements.

Waverley Borough Council said that it is seeking to expand its planning projects team to ensure section 106 agreements and planning conditions are delivered once developments get underway.

It intends to employ a new section 106 monitoring and compliance officer “in order to enable the delivery of infrastructure required to support growth”.
